When Using Weed Spray:

  • Check the equipment for damage including the hose reel. (If damage is found remove the applicator from service and apply a “Do Not Use” tag.)
  • Inspect the work area for hazards.
  • Ensure that only the intended weeds are being effected and over spray is not effecting other plants, waterways, people or public areas. Always stand upwind to the target zone.
  • Maintain sensory awareness of approaching weather systems
